Models
These are the models Jackson created in class at NDSU. The physical models were created with the laser cutter and the virtual models were created with architecture software.
High Rise Physical Model

Frank Gehry Bird House

Useless-2-Usefull Challenge

NDSU Vision Award Finalist

Demo Blades+Wood Scraps+Magnets = Cutting Board
Tetra Grid Structure Study

Designing and evaluating long span horizontal structures.
Through the use of Revit Parametric Modeling and 3D printing.
Vertical Structural Model

By designing and creating individual columns, cores, beams, girders, and floor plates, a lot can be learnt from the structural layout of a systems and easily discussed and assessed by a number of individuals.

Laser Cut Bison Head

Jackson worked as an assistant in the laser cutting room his first year in the architecture program. He rearranged the room and one evening created the bison head by laser cutting leftover cardboard. This bison head is on display in the laser cutting room at NDSU and is shown on tours for potential architecture students.
