Healing Hearts

The Healing Hearts of Suicide Survivors Support Group strives to provide a safe place for healing and support. When your loved one or someone you know has died by suicide, your life has been forever changed. With the help of our group, you can work through the complex emotions with the support and hope of other survivors who will walk alongside you “through” your grief journey.

What Would Bri Do

In 2013, BriAnna Rose Kruzel passed away unexpectedly due to unknown natural causes. She was 18 years old, and she dedicated her life to helping others. Her parents, Randy and Tami Kruzel, formed What Would Bri Do as a way of continuing her legacy of compassion and generosity. What Would Bri Do is building a space for our community to grieve. Smile Again Ministries

Smile Again Ministries (SAM) helps families deal with the grief and struggles that follow the death of a child. Since 1998 SAM has helped several moms and dads and surviving siblings cope with their loss and pain. Whitetail Lodge - located near Crosslake, Minnesota - is a retreat center for grieving families. This is a safe place to deal with your shattered emotions. A place where healing can begin.  It doesn't matter what age your child was when he or she died - we have found the pain suffered by parents is deep no matter how old your child was. "Our mission is to help hurting people find hope and peace in their pain."

Alliance of Hope

The Urgent Need. We believe no suicide loss survivor should go without support. Since 2008, the Alliance of Hope has been working to decrease stigma, increase understanding of the suicide loss experience, and provide direct support to survivors. Visit allianceofhope.org for more information.

Association of Catholic Mental Health Ministers - When A Loved One Dies By Suicide (film)

Friends For Survival

Friends For Survival are a national non-profit bereavement outreach organization available to those who are grieving a suicide death of family or friends. They also assist professionals who work with those who are grieving a suicide tragedy. Friends For Survival, organized by and for survivors, has been offering suicide bereavement support services since 1983. All staff and volunteers have been directly impacted by a suicide death.
